I'm back from my tournament yesterday and I'm ready to kick things here at chessvine back into gear!
What's currently on my mind is 'careers in chess' and I think one of the least (if not 'the least') organized and explained career in chess is that of a chess manager. What does a manager do for those he manages? How much is fair payment for this kind of service? How do you find the job? What qualifications do you need?
It's these questions and more I'm going to be looking to answer. I'll be conducting interviews and making connections trying to get the real scoop on this career. I'll add links in this article and linkback from future articles.
